With all due respect to the Giants, the real Super Bowl winners were Madonna and Clint Eastwood. Without paying a cent for advertising, Madonna’s 12 minute set gave her the platform to promote her new single and upcoming album, as well as the chance pre-show to plug her new movie, W.E. Forbes estimates the cost of the time at $84 million, and the world peace-loving Material One used every cartwheeling, party rocking, pom-pom shaking second to remind us why we loved her in the ’80s, ’90s, ’00s and to make us look forward to her first release of the ’10s.
And we all want to vote for Clint to bring us back into touchdown territory again.
